Cheeseburger Soup

Chicken Paprikash Instant Pot

Ingredient – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 pounds chicken thighs bone-in, skin on – 4 cups sliced onion – 2 cloves garlic minced

– 2 cups low or no sodium chicken broth – 4 teaspoons paprika – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika – 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika or to taste

– 2 tablespoons all purpose flour – 1/3 cup sour cream full fat works best in this recipe – 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste

DIRECTIONS: 1. Heat Instant Pot on Sautee mode, add oil, sear chicken, flip. Repeat if needed. 2. Remove chicken, sautee onions till soft, add garlic for flavor.

3. Deglaze pot with 1/4 cup chicken broth, add the rest. 4. Stir in paprika, return chicken, seal, set to Soup/Stew for 15 mins.

5. Let pressure naturally release for 10 mins, then remove chicken. 6. Make a thick flour-water mix, slowly add to pot while whisking.

7. Add hot sauce to sour cream, mix into gravy for extra flavor. 8. Season with salt and pepper, pour over chicken, and enjoy your delicious meal!
