Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe

Ingredients: – 1 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup packed light brown sugar – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oat

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.

1. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.

1. Fold in the rolled oats and raisins until evenly distributed throughout the dough. 2. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies with a glass of cold milk or a warm cup of tea!
