Perfect Banana Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 2 ripe banana 2. 1 cup all-purpose flour 3. 1 tablespoon sugar 4. 1 teaspoon baking powder 5. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 6. 1/4 teaspoon salt 7. 1 cup milk 8. 1 large egg 9. 2 tablespoons melted butter 10. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 11. Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions: 1. Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add in the egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as it can lead to dense pancakes. 

Heat the Pan: Place a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil and spread it evenly across the surface. 

Cook the Pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges begin to look set, about 2-3 minutes. 

Flip and Cook: Carefully flip the pancakes with a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom and cooked through. 

Serve and Enjoy: Transfer the pancakes to a plate and serve warm with your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, maple syrup, or a dollop of whipped cream.
